From 2017 John became the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) Regional Assessor for Kent and South London.
John set up the business in 1998 after working a spell with a local fireplace shop as their company sweep.
He passed the NACS Training Course in Staffordshire the same year and followed with the HETAS Training Course in 2002.
He was the NACS Regional Officer for Kent from 2007 to 2014 whereby duties involved vetting new sweeps and investigating complaints against established companies.
John was a full-time fire-fighter for 26 years. He began his career with Surrey Fire and Rescue Service before transferring to Kent Fire and Rescue Service in 1998. He worked most of his career at Tunbridge Wells Fire Station.
John retired from the service in 2016 and now dedicates his time to his Chimney Sweeping Business.
